ABOUT APVSOA

In 2019, the Government of Andhra Pradesh marked a first in the Republic of India by establishing the Village and Ward Secretariat System. This initiative aims to decentralize administration and development by serving approximately 2000 people in rural areas and 4000 people in urban areas, respectively.

We, the Panchayat Secretaries Gr-VI (Digital Assistants) from engineering and technical backgrounds, are proud to be part of this system and serve as the backbone of the Village Secretariats, delivering services to citizens at their doorstep.

 

The technical knowledge and skills of every Panchayat Secretary Gr-VI (Digital Assistant) must be enhanced periodically through necessary training and guidance to serve the public with great transparency and facilitate real-time administration at the grassroots level.

Therefore, we request the integration of all technically qualified Digital Assistants into the appropriate technical departments, potentially as engineers in fields such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
